Hi hi hi! Long time no see, dA!
This is my cheap-ass (relatively speaking. 12 yds of boning is expensive as hell) elliptical crinoline cage tutorial. This is in no way shape or form historically accurate, so please use with a grain of salt! There is an excellent pattern that I was too cheap to buy available on Amazon.
I made one of these to use for C.C.'s Black Lily/DVD artbook dress and for Elizabeth Middleford's Campania/Bizarre Dolls party dress so mine is really short and stops at my knees. You can adjust the length of your cage however you need.
